What are your "special" skills – your specific skill set that you contribute to Landmark?
Lived the last three years out of a Subaru sponsored by companies such as The North Face, Coleman, Nike, Montbell, SmartWool, and others teaching Leave No Trace across the lower 48. I now share my experiences and insight through instructing Leave No Trace courses for Landmark.
What are your favorite outdoor activities?
Trail running, hiking/backpacking, caving, sea kayaking, fly fishing, peakbagging, and anything involving a Frisbee.
Any career or personal highlights you’d like to share?
I helped to establish Brevard Academy, a K-8 NC public charter school outside of the Pisgah National Forest in Brevard, NC. I taught there for over six years and happy to report that it is now 10 years old and still thriving!
