Beckwith-Taylor Scholarship

The Beckwith-Taylor Scholarship is designed in memory of Jerry Beckwith and Don Taylor who contributed to the early development of Landmark Learning's direction and philosophy. Both were pioneering advocates of risk management and engaged everyone they met to pursue adventure and push their personal development goals. Our goal is to provide financial support to developing outdoor leaders that meet these unique scholarship requirements while exemplifying the lives of Jerry and Don.

The Beckwith-Taylor Scholarship is awarded to five candidates each year who show a commitment to developing themselves as outstanding risk management leaders in their outdoor community. The scholarship will be awarded to those who are enrolled in a Landmark Learning base managed course of greater than five days. All scholarship applicants must complete the scholarship application and essay in full and mail to Landmark Learning at least thirty days prior to the course they are enrolled in. The Scholarship committee is currently open to reviewing applicants for Landmark Learning courses in 2012. If you wish to apply please download and complete the Scholarship Application. All applications and supplementary documentation must be mailed to:
