HSI Basic Life Support

Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking.

This CPR training is intended for healthcare workers, and for outfitters with professional level CPR permitting or insurance requirements. This course includes Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, along with Bag-Valve-Mask and Two-Person Rescuer Techniques. A skills check is also available for healthcare professionals renewing their CPR Pro certification through ASHI’s online refresher training.

ASHI Basic Life Support (formerly CPR Pro for the Professional Rescuer) has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
