- WFA Only $310. The NOLS WFA runs from 8AM-5PM, July 11-12.
- WFA+CPR $389. HSI Adult/Child CPR+AED is optional. It will be held 6PM-9PM, July 10.
Meals: No meals provided.
Town is 10 minutes from our base, with ample restaurants and grocery store options. Available for student is a standard refrigerator, one microwave, coffee pot and hot water urn. Students will each have a cubby to use for dry food storage and access to dishwashing and bear-proof trash and recycling disposal. Students who bring camp stoves can cook outside under the pavilion – be sure to bring all your own pots and eating ware.
Lodging: Camping or bunkhouse $30
Camping (bring your own gear) is near the classroom and parking lot, or bunk space (bring your sleeping bag and pillow) is available by reservation. The bunkhouse (aka the Nook) is located by foot, up the trail behind the classroom – expect a 5-10 minute hike to get there (bring a backpack instead of a suitcase), heated space with window fans if needed to cool off, and a port-a-john. There is no running water at the Nook. Campers are invited to use the showers in the Downstream classroom. Students may also opt to camp in their vehicles in the parking area. The camping fee applies, and they may use the campers’ showers. No electric or water hookup is available.
You may arrive between 12PM-9PM the day before the course starts for self-checkin. Housing assignments and the grounds orientation will be posted in the classroom lobby. If you cannot arrive by 9PM, you may arrive at 7:45AM on the first day of your course. Class begins promptly at 8AM.
Students must be packed and moved out prior to 8AM on the last day of the course.

SCHEDULE:
- The online modules will open on March 1. Expect to spend 10-15 hours each week on the online portion of your NOLS HWFR and ensure you finish assignments prior to the start of the in-person skills portion.
- Arrive by 7:45 AM on March 22, for the in-person skills portion.
- The skills portion runs 8AM-6PM daily with one evening session held on Day 3.
PREREQUISITES:
- Complete all release and medical forms and return them to your course host.
- Review the NOLS Hybrid WFR Course Overview so you are fully prepared.
NEXT STEPS:
- Landmark Learning will enroll you in the NOLS CANVAS platform which will trigger additional communications from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine office. The first will be a generic course confirmation email.

Ample restaurants and grocery stores within 15 minutes of our campus. There is a pavilion for students to cook under, on their camp stoves – bring all your pots and eating ware. There is a standard-size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker available for students to share in the classroom.
