Location: Broadstone at Appalachian State University, 1431 Broadstone Road, Banner Elk, NC 28604

Tuition:

$310 – Current ASU Students

$360 – All Others

Meals: Not included. An industrial kitchen is available for students staying onsite.  

Lodging:

On-site lodging is available.  Lodging is optional. Shared cabin space with bunkbeds is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Any overnight stay is $20/night and grants access to the kitchen appliances and indoor showers/bathrooms. 

Other:

This course meets the American Camp Association 2012 Standards and the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid training requirement.  

This course is approved by the United States Coast Guard to satisfy the first aid and CPR training requirements [46 CFR 11.205(e)(1)(i)  and 46 CFR 11.205(e)(2)(iv)] for a merchant mariner license.
